Year One of Trump 2.0 was even worse than expected—and we must endure three more. The President empowered right wing extremists, attacked the LGBTQ community, decimated human rights, and laid the groundwork to destabilize America and jeopardize global security.
Truth Wins Out was in the center of this existential fight and we never backed down. As we head into 2026, we have a tangible action plan:
- Defeat Project 2025: This year, we produced groundbreaking research on 59 of the 114 Project 2025 organizations. Project 2025 is the right wing’s plot to overthrow democracy and refashion America in their totalitarian image. Our 500 page report, “Behind the Mask” exposed these organizations for the radical extremists they truly are.
TWO will spend the first quarter of 2026 deeply researching the remaining 55 Project 2025 organizations. This isn’t simply an academic exercise to create a report which will collect dust on the shelf. We are creating a cache of explosive information to use as ammunition to strike back at our most ardent foes—most of whom are at war with the LGBTQ community.
Once our landmark research is complete, we will disseminate it to key audiences, such as the media, lawmakers and organizations. Next, we will spend the remainder of the year launching unrelenting attacks against these hate groups. Our goal is to frame the message, define them as toxic, and reduce their power to harm our families.
- Ex-Gay Monitoring: The Supreme Court is expected to end bans on conversion therapy. “Ex-gay” organizations are already scheming behind the scenes to peddle their snake oil once the laws are voided. Truth Wins Out is more prepared than any group in the world to fight back and expose these charlatans as the frauds they are. We have created the largest video catalogue combatting the lies spread by the “ex-gay” industry. In 2026, we will convert our videos into multiple languages, to counter conversion quackery across the globe. (Check out the TWO videos in Spanish we have already completed) We will also continue our unique monitoring program to gather intel on these nefarious “pray away the gay” organizations.
- Media Advocacy: TWO will speak out and advocate for our community. In 2025, we made our voices heard in the U.S. and abroad, including: USA Today, The BBC, The Guardian, the Sun Sentinel, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Michelangelo Signorile Show and many more. In 2026, we will continue to be a voice for sanity and democracy—as well as fight for human rights and LGBTQ equality.
