Musk Revealed True Colors and Should Resign from DOGE
Delray Beach, FL — Truth Wins Out, a nonprofit organization committed to combating extremism and advocating for LGBTQ equality, today slammed Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and Trump confidant, for supporting Alternative for Germany, a radical, fascist party steeped in Nazi ideology.
On his social media site, X, Musk responded to another person’s post by writing, “Only the AfD can save Germany.”
“Elon Musk revealed his true colors and showed that he is a fascist sympathizer with radical and dangerous views,” said Truth Wins Out Executive Director Wayne Besen. “President-Elect Trump should immediately fire Musk from his quasi-governmental role leading the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk’s extremist ideas are a national security concern and should have no place in our country’s government.”
With early German election scheduled for Feb. 23, Musk is leveraging his influence, acquired from his approximately half-trillion fortune and ownership of X, to try to influence the results. Currently, AfD is polling at 19% and Musk’s comment potentially could boost their standing. Musk’s post has 25 million views and counting.
The multi-billionaire’s post is especially disturbing as he flexes his monied muscles in US politics. This week, he played a key role in killing a bipartisan budget compromise in the House, possibly leading to a protracted government shutdown and harming Biden’s remarkably strong economy.
Musk’s endorsement of German fascists comes at a pivotal time when there are murmurs about whether Musk has wormed himself in as de facto co-president, eclipsing the power of Trump, as well as Vice President JD Vance and House Speaker Mike Johnson.
The New York Times reported that the Afd is a fascist-leaning organization with ties to Nazis:
News that members of the AfD attended a secret meeting with the Austrian extreme-right provocateur Martin Sellner, who has admitted to once being a member of a neo-Nazi group and has called for deporting migrants en masse, led to large protestsearly this year. Then, starting in May, a leading light of the party was twice given a hefty fine for using Nazi-era slogans during campaign stops.
Last month in the eastern state of Saxony, police arrested eight people suspected of being members of what they called a right-wing extremist terrorist organization, which they said had been plotting to overthrow the government. Three of the eight were AfD members; one was an elected local official.
In Britain, he has thrown his weight behind another insurgent, anti-immigrant party, Reform U.K., which is led by the longtime political disrupter Nigel Farage.
“Musk is presenting himself as a reformer when he’s really a deformer of America’s social policies and future,” added TWO’s Besen. “Americans need to understand the real Elon Musk before they hand over the country’s keys to a social misfit with dangerous ideas.”
Truth Wins Out has advocated for the deportation of Musk, a South African who gained citizenship by flagrantly misrepresenting his immigration status. The U.S. should use eminent domain to seize his company and personal assets, considering he exploited America and built his empire with ill-gotten gains.
Musk’s secretive conversations with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is also a national security risk so severe that the US government should deny his security clearance and seize all his companies that have government contracts.
