Washed-up Rapper Can’t Dance Around The Radical Record of Kimberly Daniels, Says TWO
BURLINGTON, Vt. – Truth Wins Out today condemned has-been rapper MC Hammer for his endorsement of Jacksonville, Florida City Council candidate Kimberly Daniels (D). TWO recently urged Daniels to bow out of the race after shocking videos revealed offensive comments about Jews and slavery. In one video discovered by researcher Bruce Wilson, Daniels preaches to her flock: “You can talk about the Holocaust, but the Jews own everything.”
Daniels also says, “I thank God for slavery. If it wasn’t for slavery, I might be somewhere in Africa worshiping a tree.”
Despite these appalling comments, MC Hammer used his remaining clout to endorse the embattled candidate: “Kimberly Daniels is a blessed and anointed woman of God. I ask everyone in Jacksonville to support and elect her to City Council. Kimberly Daniels is too legit to quit.”
“Even the fast-stepping MC Hammer can’t dance around the outrageous and offensive views expressed by Kimberly Daniels,” said Wayne Besen, Executive Director of Truth Wins Out. “While MC Hammer may believe that Daniels is ‘too legit to quit,’ a look at her ugly statements reveals that she is ‘too loony to lead’. This ill-conceived endorsement is disgraceful and he should strongly reconsider it before his reputation is irreparably damaged.”
The controversial candidate has repeatedly denigrated LGBT people. An example from her 2009 book Prayers That Bring Change:
“I no longer conform to and subject myself under the words and authority of the homosexual agenda… I repent for all the people I have recruited to join this army of darkness… I come against the vision of the rainbow that represented a covenant between the devil and me… We curse gay pride to the root and declare that is nothing to be proud of; it is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord…We come against the witchcraft that is working behind the scenes of the homosexual agenda.” (Pages 133-135)
Daniels has also said that Halloween candy can be tainted by demons: “I do not buy candy during the Halloween season,” Daniels told Charisma magazine on October 27, 2009. “Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door-to-door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons can’t tell the difference.”
Additionally, Daniels is known as a “demon buster” who gives exorcisms to rid people of various maladies.
“We have experienced much success in one-session deliverances,” Daniels wrote in her book, Clean House, Strong House. “…However, there have been times when I have personally walked homosexuals, ex-witches, and drug addicts through sessions that took place over a couple of years.”
On March 22, Daniels received 43 percent of the vote and forced a May 17th runoff with Republican David Taylor. Recently, Daniels was also endorsed by the New Black Panthers who seemed to threaten her opponents.
